Instruction for co-registration of images

All satellite imagery has a small error built in. This becomes much more apparent when you have two images at the same location. This error can affect tools such as change detection. This guide will show you how to co-register images


1. Create a Workspace with the images you want to co-register

In this example we added 2 SAR images to our workspace

2. Click on Image Co-Registration.

3. Select the images you want to co-register.

4. Select the Target and Reference layer and click on Apply.

Optional: you can change the Output Layer Name.

5. Message with "Co-Registration has started" should appear.

6. Optional: Click on the Jobs/ Analytics if you want to see the progress of your co-registration process.

7. Ongoing Co-Registration process.

8. When the process has been successful finished a new layer will appear in your Workspace.
